Great walking, running/biking trail. Can go out to Roosevelt Island and enjoy a little park, ride/run out to DCA/National Airport, make it a picnic, watch the planes take off and land. Can also take the trail to Key Bridge and cross over the Potomac into Georgetown and enjoy shopping/dining in a fantastic historic neighborhood.

Probably the closest theatre nearby. However, there is a lot of construction at the Mall right now, so it's a bit of a maze to find the theater. But once you arrive, it's perfectly fine.
