Popeyes got a lot of attention for their chicken sandwich, but I think the chicken sandwich from Open Crumb is the sandwich to beat. Oh and they make their own bread. How cool is that!

I've never had a bad meal here. It's tapas style, but I find the portions generous.

There aren't many free zoos around and this is a pretty nice one.

I really enjoyed the tour of the capitol building I didn't think I'd be that into it, but it was cool. Go online first to book a ticket. Free of course :)

Dig Deeper
DC is known for its monuments and museums, but there are many other amazing sites to see. These are the amazing off the beaten path adventures I'd recommend.
You need a car (or bike) to get here, but it's worth it - so beautiful and peaceful!

This is an awesome trail in any weather. It's pretty flat You'll see runners, walkers, bikers, skaters.... everyone! Check out TrailLink or AllTrails for more info.
