Dive bar, but only a 30 second walk from my backdoor. They have a great selection of rare whiskeys for cheap. $1 dollar beers happy hour 3-6 pm.
Super super busy on Fri/Sat during dinner time as they have a famous lobster/shrimp cocktail (it's MASSIVE) that people flock to.

Another super close brewery. This one is half dog park / half brewery. Yes! A food truck rotates thru daily. The beers are awesome. One of Boise's most famous breweries. You will see their cans in almost every grocery store.
The location also features outdoor games (cornhole) and is great for kids too.
This is my favorite place to take my dog and grab a beer.

733 S Pioneer StAnother super close brewery. This one is half dog park / half brewery. Yes! A food truck rotates thru daily. The beers are awesome. One of Boise's most famous breweries. You will see their cans in almost every grocery store.
The location also features outdoor games (cornhole) and is great for kids too.
This is my favorite place to take my dog and grab a beer.

Great spot to hike up to when it's not too hot (not a lot of shade on the way up). This is Boise's most famous overlook. It's like that make-out point you see in all the movies overlooking a city.

I take my dog for a lap around the park 3-4 times a week. Great views, excellent place to jog or just hang out.
Weekends usually bring food trucks and other events (concerts etc)

The Boise Greebelt famously runs alongside the Boise river, which cuts thru the heart of downtown. You can acesss the green belt from many locations, including the Quinn's Pond White Water park I mentioned.
