Only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive from our house. Plenty of parking is nearby and is free after 6pm.

Great traditional pub that serves classic British pub food! Lovely cosy atmosphere and good service.
The Shakespeare Inn (B&B, Accommodation And Eatery)

If you want a takeaway, get Thai Kitchen. You have to collect your order from Thai Kitchen's unit, which is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away.
But it is worth the effort! This is the bes Thai food in the Lake District. Massive menu to choose from and it is so reasonably priced!

Low Sizergh Barn's cafe is on the site of its dairy farm and Growing Well Kendal's organic farm mental health charity. You can have a lovely stroll around the farm trail and through the woods (which are quilted with wild garlic and bluebells in spring) and then enjoy a top quality meal, cake or drink at the cafe after.
