There is a man-made dam at the south-east end that includes a waterfall. On the weekends, you can often see newlyweds having their photographs taken.

Downtown Markham truly became the Place to Be Entertained as Cineplex Cinemas opened its doors on Friday, April 3, 2015. The unveiling of the new state-of-the-art Cineplex complex – the area’s newest and most-cutting edge movie theatre featuring IMAX and D-BOX motion seats – represents the first step in the launch of the Phase 1 of retail and entertainment in Downtown Markham.
Cineplex will be joined by retailers like RBC, Aroma Espresso Bar, Me Va Me, Chatime, and Curry’s Artists Materials later this year.
