Open 24 hours a day, Breka is my favourite bakery in Vancouver. Open 24/7 for all of your coffee, donut, and sandwich desires. Breka is our go-to spot for bread as well. We buy day-old bread for around $2.00-$2.50. Our favourites are Sovital and Bauernbrot. On a typical day we'll stop in for an Americano or a Mocha with an apple fritter (which are our tried and true staples). The apple fritters are huge and more than enough to share. My only qualm with the apple fritters is that I wish there were more apples actually inside.

Against the stunning natural backdrop, there is lots to see and do in Vancouver. It is the only city where you can ski and sail in the same day (start skiing in the morning at Whistler and finish the day sailing the waters of English Bay or Burrard Inlet). Truly memorable!
