Best food ! Chris , Jason & Paul are the happiest and guaranteed to brighten your day !My favorites include shrimp taco , gyro or surf and turf po boy. Mike likes the hot wings and the Barge burger. This place is attached to the back of the barge inn so you can have a drink and play pool while you wait for your food. Bobs IGA is across the street for supplies before you head back to camp.

Pick any spot on Lake Superior from sand point (Washington Street, Munising ) to Grand Marais as it’s all gorgeous! Miners castle, miners falls,miners beach, Chapel loop, Chapel Falls, Mosquito Loop, Beavers, 12 mile beach , Ausable Lighthouse . Soooo many options !

I think this would be a fun way to see around grand island and Lake Superior. Tim does take the boat up close to the island rock formations and I’m pretty sure you feel the lake 👀💦

Boat ride out along pictures rocks first and then you are placed in water for a kayak experience (cruise /kayak combo).

Cute gift shop/ ice cream and super fun with small children. Search along the paths for all the hidden gnomes while wearing your own gnome hat. Feed the fish. Take family pics at the falls.

Short hike into the falls ! Head down to sand point beach and enjoy view of grand island . Walk the board walk across from the beach. Lakeshore trail starts at munising falls all the way to grand marais and it’s all beautiful.

Short hike into the falls ! Head down to sand point beach and enjoy view of grand island . Walk the board walk across from the beach. Lakeshore trail starts at munising falls all the way to grand marais and it’s all beautiful.
Lots of options here ! Turn right off miners castle road towards miners falls ( beautiful hike in through the hardwoods).
Go down below the castle (another road to the right)to miners beach - left hand side of beach you’ll see miners river where you can walk out on rock until it ends. Jump in following the rocks edge and swim under the castle (never alone or without life jacket). Remember The cruise boats create waves in addition to lady superior ! You’ll need a warm and calm condition for this. Right hand side of beach wonderful place to spend the day and watch a sunset. Perfect ! You have to hike short distance to the beach from both parking areas.
