It's probably the bridge with the best views of London. You can see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament on one side, and St. Paul's on the other. You also see the full curve of the river at this point.

Food Scene
It does good, affordable Thai food at night. You can get fry-ups for breakfast too, but I haven't tried those yet! This whole street is very lively - for example, Cubana is just next door for mojitos and Cuban street food

Very lively and very popular, with all kinds of different foods to choose from. Can be noisy, so better to go in a group.

It's one of the larger parks south of the river, and it has a lovely pagoda! Popular with joggers!

Obviously, this is a long trek from where I live, but it is worth the trip. This is nothing like a manicured park, it feels wild, like you are truly in the country. Hampstead is also a nice part of the city, if a wee bit on the twee side.

Home of the British Film Institute. Offers seasons and retrospectives on major directors, actors and themes. Also a very good bookshop...of course, you also have the National Theatre and the other South Bank sites very nearby...take your pick

Because it offers membership for 10 pounds a year, and as a member you can see some films for just 1 pound! Also, because the programme is consistently excellent - fun, eclectic, intelligent. They know their stuff! Also, excellent location just off Leicester Square.
