There are honestly so many amazing places for brunch in and around Ballard, but Dish will always be my favorite. They never disappoint. Don't forget to get a scone with your breakfast! It's out of this world!

There's so much you can experience at the Sunday Farmer's Market! It's a quick 15 minute walk from my unit. Don't miss the guys grilling up veggie quesadillas. They're incredible! Aside from the market, you can pop into all the cute boutiques that line Ballard Ave.

This place is a historic hole in the wall. It won't be the most lively of bars on a weekend, but it will be a great place to rub elbows with the locals, learn about historic Ballard, play pull tabs, and choose your favorite tunes on a historic jukebox.

This is one of the larger small venues where some of my favorite touring acts roll through. As a musician, it's also one of my favorite local spots to play.

This is a great spot to catch some mountain views and relax on the beach. It's really fun to pick up a lime bike and take the Burke-Gilman trail there from my place.

Essentials
While it's definitely a little pricier than the Safeway, I love the Ballard Market when I just need a few items. They have a great grab 'n' go section with an awesome salad bar and hot food bar. I'm there almost daily. The staff is incredibly friendly as well!
