It is an open air museum. You will love to walk the trails, watch the birds and the lake view, and learn about life of the forest community on the island. Most fun of all is to ride one of the historic trains over the Somenos Lake Trestle and relax and enjoy views of the 100-acre museum from the train! It is 8 minutes drive from our farm.

Most fun of all is to ride one of the historic trains over the Somenos Lake Trestle and relax and enjoy views of the 100-acre museum from the train! It is 8 minutes drive from our farm.
Easy walk down to the quiet beach. You can see over to Salt Spring Island, and see the Salt Spring Ferry coming and going. Plenty of waterfowl and seals in the bay. You can walk towards crofton on the beautiful seaside boardwalk. The park is 10 minutes drive from our farm.

Mount Tzouhalem is fantastic for hiking and mountain biking. There are trails for all types of skill and so many diverse views. You can get an incredible view of Cowichan Bay, Duncan and much of the Cowichan Valley when It is 13 minutes drive from our farm.
