This is right on the back yard! The American Tobacco Trail is a 22 mile trail that starts from downtown Durham and goes south along a tree covered walk and bike way. No motorist allowed on this trail!
The beginning of the trail is a very large and entertaining warehouse where the tobacco was made. The warehouse is now full of shops, restaurants, a ton of greenery, a small downflowing river, and lawn.
