Folkestone Harbour Arm is a fantastic spot to visit when in Folkestone. Packed full of the most amazing eateries and places to enjoy a drink, watch sport and films on the big screen, play crazy golf and so much more, it's become a real destination. Why not try gyros on The Big Greek Bus, indulge in steak and lobster in an old railway carriage at Shesells Seashells or treat yourself to a glass of something sparkly at the champagne bar housed in the lighthouse at the end of the harbour arm.

Small steam trains running along the marsh from Hythe to Dungeness, a great day out for kids (big and small). It's worth getting off at New Romney to see the model railway at the station or going all the way to Dungeness to climb the lighthouse and explore the UK's only desert. RHDR run seasonal specials at Easter, Halloween, Christmas and more which are always very popular so make sure you book in advance.

You will find a daily menu made from the best seasonal produce. A real love of cooking and a great sense of what hospitality means. It is simply fabulous. From the warm homemade soda bread to the winter stew and the diver- caught scallops…. I decided to move to Folkestone when I discovered this restaurant. It is pure beauty.

The menu is well thought and the team charming. You can find something for everyone and really do not need to tell your guests that it is a vegan place as no one would know. It is a great place to go especially as you might feel like eating good healthy, yet, indulgent food after few days of fish and chips and burgers.

The beauty of it is that, not only the coffee is good, but the food is delicious too. It might seem like a simple menu, however, every ingredient is picked carefully and cooked to perfection. Their brioche and egg sandwich is … just made of beauty. Perfect brioche, perfect cooked egg. You can add sausages and bacon if you like. The home baked carrot cake is magic (if you are like me, you will buy it before they even have the time to add the frosting to it) They do sausage rolls and vegan sausage rolls too… lots of options. If you go for a run, ride, or a walk it is the perfect reward at the end of it.

Great for your fruit and veg. The butcher there is small however good and extremely well priced. I do not understand why there is not a queue in front of the door every day. The place belongs to the group L&B. family, local business. They own 4 other Pub/ restaurants in town It is easy to get your shop done there as you can buy what you need instead of large quantities. There's also an onsite cafe/restaurant.
