Visible clearly form Llwyn Hir, a day out walking on Moelwyn Bach and Moelwyn Mawr gets 11/10 in my book! Starting easily up towards the reservoir above Tan y Grisiau, the walk to the summits of these two lovely mountains can be followed by an glimpse into the fascinating history of the Welsh slate industry by returning via the old quarries that lead you back down to your start via Llyn Cwmorthin. About 12k and 700m of ascent. Well worth the effort though.
