Small colorful villas, great restaurants, a marina harbour that attracts wealthy yachts. You can also arrange to take a Ferry tour towards Astakos island, Lefkada island or Ithaka.

The people of Cephalonia honor the death of Saint Gerasimos at the monastery on the 16th August and the restitution of his holy relic on October 20th. On those days, a procession of the saint is taking place. The coffin is moved under the shadow of a plane tree, which was planted by Agios Gerasimos himself. The ceremony is followed by a big festival with music, dancing, food and wine. Opening hours: Monday - Sunday, 7am - 13pm and 3pm - 9pm On Sunday's you can visit also during the Orthodox divie Liturgy.

An uphill drive to the top of the National Park of Mount Aenos, one of the top ten tallest mountains of Greece, covered in Cephalonian Black Pin trees. Mount Aenos or Ainos (Ancient Greek: Ὄρος Αἶνος; Modern Greek: Όρος Αίνος. Italian: Monte Nero or Montagna Nera) is the tallest mountain in the Ionian island of Cephallonia, Greece, with an elevation of 1,628 metres (5,341 ft). Pine forests are found between the elevations of 700 to 1200 m. Semi wild ponies inhabit its forest. On clear days, the view includes the NW Peloponnese and Aetolia along with the islands of Zakynthos, Lefkada, and Ithaca. Great for pic nics with a view. A car is a must!

World renowned beach for its beauty! Amazing sunset views not to be missed! Attention to small children due to very deap waters and strong currents, must consult the local weather for winds before making the drive there as on windy days swimming is strongly prohibited for safety reasons!
