Lake Ruffard & Gimel les Cascades. Wander down to the waterfall and run around the ruins, then enjoy the restaurant. Or the terrace restaurant at Lake Ruffard, with pedaloes in summer.

Kindda like a Cotswolds stone village - but the stone is very dark pinky red ! loads of gifty craft shops and restaurants.
