about a 10 minute walk is an exciting restaurant hub. It also has a supermarket and medical centre. Well worth a visit.

Getting Around
A bus stop in St John’s road at the end of the street is 2 minutes away. From there the 470 bus will take you via Central into Martin Place in the City. It is only a few minutes to Central Station, where trains are available to everywhere throughout Sydney and beyond.

On GPR you can get a 431 or 433 to the City. The 433 in the other direction will take you to Balmain. You can also get a 370 to Coogee beach from GPR– an hour long trip but worth it for a good day out.

The Light Rail is about a 15 minute walk to the station at the bottom of Palmerston Ave off GPR. It will take you to the Fish markets, Pyrmont, Crown casino, Chinatown and then to Central Railway.
You will need an Opal card for all public transport options. You can purchase and top up at the Newsagent in Ross Street around the corner.
Opal cards can also be used on Sydney ferries. Taking a local ferry say to Manly or elsewhere is a must while in Sydney. Cheaper than the tourist boats on offer and lovely for a nice day out at the beach or for a leisurely lunch.
