The Costa Tropical has beautiful, secluded, crystal clear water beaches and coves. Many are found along the cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo, an enclave of incredible beauty extending 375 hectares that was declared National Park in 1986.

The Barranco de Luna is a very nice narrow canyon with very steep walls. The exceptional beautiful trail that goes through the canyon is only 2,6 km long with a difference of 100 meters of altitude, but it has its difficulties.
