For history buffs, this was the 2nd bloodiest battle of the civil war, 2nd to Gettysburg, PA. It's a sizeable battlefield with markers to read & audios for your phone as you drive through the park.

Beautiful vista from this point, and though it's small, we have taken a picnic lunch, snack and/or just drinks to sit and soak in the view. Obviously, it's great near sunset (as named) & faces west.

I love their pizza, especially the ham and pineapple. Great crust. Their ice cream servings are delicious & huge - less is more! It's very casual, dine-in or carry-out, and only 15-20 from here.
