Sightseeing
This is our favorite thing to do - take a Washington State Ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island. Once arrived, you can walk about 5-10 min to the downtown where there are great shops, wine/beer cafes and restaurants. Great way to see the Seattle skyline day or night too! A Very local activity I think : ) (Car is not required to take on the ferry)
Other options is to take day trip to Whidbey Island, but you will need to bring your car.

In Spring, this is THE place to visit as it has the beautiful Japanese Cherry Blossoms trees all in bloom (just like in Washington D.C.).

From this park, you will overlook for the iconic view of Seattle! This view is the one used in postcards, etc. Nothing much to do here other than take an awesome picture, and perhaps drive around the neighborhood if you are interested in different architecture.

For some, they are interested to drive around to check out the microsoft campus, about 10 min drive from our house. If it is a work day, you can visit their Visitor's Center too!

You don't have to be a member here to enjoy the amazing view of Seattle/Bellevue - and enjoy some wine/food from their outside balcony! This is one of our must-dos for any friends/family that visit us, so I hope you can enjoy it too. In the Summer, they have a bagpiper play at sunset.
