The Chinese Tower is a well-known structure located in the heart of the English Garden. Enjoy the beer garden and sunshine, or take a walk/bike ride through this giant park (actually larger than Central Park in NYC!).

Not far from the Chinese Tower is the Eisbach brook - the mecca of river surfing in Munich. A small dam and the brook’s abundance of water, fed by the Isar river, results in a so-called standing wave 1/2 m high and about 12 m wide. But this wave lasts forever and not matter what time of day or what time of year, there are always some brave souls thrashing this gnarly wave!
