La Clayette is a small village with a few bars and restaurants. It is a lovely place to go and have a coffee in front of a beautiful, well kept old chateau, which is privately owned.

Charolles is the closest biggest town to visit, just a 15 minute drive. It has some nice shops and restaurants (including a Michelin Star restaurant - Frédéric Doucet at Hotel De La Poste & who also owns Le Bistrot du Quai)
