From The Hearth is a wonderful locally owned cafe/sandwich shop/coffee bar. They have amazing Tomato Basil soup, delicious sandwiches (try the French Dip!!), fantastic fries, and wonderful coffee selections. This location as a outdoor patio, so sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather with your meal!

Check out Final Draft- a local brewery and restaurant. You'll often find live music, but if not, there's always indoor games of corn hole happening! The brewery has 15+ unique beers on tap, and fantastic appetizers if you aren't looking for a full meal. ALSO... just out the back of the brewery, check out the new food truck park, simply called The Park. Beer, wine, margaritas and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchase at the center hub, then grab some food from one of the incredible food trucks. Stick around to play giant Jenga, corn hole, giant checkers, bowling, or whatever other games are out. There are fire tables to keep you warm, but if it gets chilly, just head back to Final Draft!

The Vintage Public House is a great spot to catch live music and tasted some incredible foods! If the restaurant is too busy, wander across the street to Market Street Steakhouse, another one of our favorite spots. Drinks are great at both locations!

Sightseeing
Make sure to visit the Sundial Bridge while in Redding! If you can, try to go at sunset and watch the sky change over the Sacramento River as you walk across the bridge. Coffees of any size are $1 during happy hour (3-5 depending on time of year) at the cafe next to the museum. Check out local gifts at the shop as well!

Check out the Visitor's Center for up to date hiking trail access and maps. The view from the parking lot is a great spot for a photo with the gorgeous lake and surrounding mountains as your backdrop!
