Our nearby beach has some amazing views of Sugarload mountain and is great place to go for a walk or a run in the morning. Always busy at the weekend. The water isn't the best for swimming in though.

A beautiful park can be found in the grounds of the old dictator's palace, as well as the Museum of the republic, a small cinema, a cafe and a playground. Great place to read a book on a sunny day.

The batcave of Catete, this bar sometimes has some good live music during the week, but you'll be too busy watching the endless reruns of the old Adam West Batman to even notice.
