The donuts are delicious! Everything is gluten free and vegan but nothing is dry, boring or tasteless. The maple donut is one of my favorite splurges ever.

Not only is their coffee great, but if you can snag a table, the cafe has great people watching. If tea is more your style, they have Alfred Tea Room just across the street - the decor is adorable.

Fig + Olive has a great brunch, but I really love their dinner. The vibe is very intimate, and is best for a romantic night out or a small group. They have amazing small plates - you can get a variety of crostini to share. Their truffle risotto, penne fungi, and chilean sea bass are all phenomenal.

They have amazing small plates - you can get a variety of crostini to share. Their truffle risotto, penne fungi, and chilean sea bass are all phenomenal.
If you go on a weekend the wait time can be quite long but it is so worth it. I highly recommend the crunchy french toast (seriously so good), the steak hash, or the Blu Jam Benedict.

I love the ambiance here and the food is great. I suggest the Kobe beef meatballs pasta, the grilled salmon, or the pizettes.

The Nice Guy is a very discreet restaurant/bar/lounge on La Cienega. The bar is reservation only so plan ahead if you want to go here. It's a really cool, intimate bar feel and great for small groups! Chances are high for celeb sightings.
