You can walk to Fiztgeralds park via a lovely river walk or jog. Just cross the North Gate Bridge from the apartment, take a left down the North Mall, and just after the foot bridge crosses the river on your left there is an entrance through to the river walk. Keep going till you cross the river again, pass the skate park, take a right and 100 metres on Fitzgerald's park is on your right.

You can reach UCC via the river walk (see below route to Fitzgerald's Park), when you pass the skate park just cross the intersection straight ahead to UCC. There's a great Galery - the Glucksmann - also an amazing building, beautiful grounds and also the historic part of UCC the quad.
