The first, original Din Tai Fung restaurant, famous for its delicious "xiaolongbao" soupy steamed dumplings. The menu is varied and you can't go wrong -- a great intro to Taiwanese cuisine.

Raohe is by far my favourite night market -- it's one long street crammed with food stalls so you can do one circuit and sample many different foods -- go hungry!
