This is a great place to snorkel as well as watch sea turtles and surfers do their thing. There are bathrooms and a beach shower to rinse off. Good spot on windy days if you tuck in on the sand under the life guard tower.

Makawao Town is a must. Great strolling, shopping and eating in our cowboy town. We have a huge Paniolo Culture here and Makawao is a huge part of it. Besides local rodeos, there are also Polo matches during season.
