Some of the most amazing views of Manhattan while strolling well over a mile of historic piers turned into engaging public spaces. Start your walk on the south end by Joralemon Street and walk up to the top of the park in DUMBO (under Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges).
Great playground at pier 1 next to the water. Favorite picnic spot is SW corner of pier 1 grassy area overlooking Statue of Liberty. Water lab functions as a kiddie water park in summer across from pier 5.
