Great views over the harbour and back towards the city (especially nice at sunset). Also some nice short walks with views over the cliffs out to the Pacific Ocean. You can also do tours of North Fort which has some interesting history.

Nestled in North Head National Park but only a short walk from Manly Wharf, this quiet beach has a great view across the harbour and there's a good chance you might be the only one there. It's hard to believe you can find a place like this so close to the city.
