This is a local gem with 2 locations. Luckily, you are close to the beautifully designed Clintonville location! Little Eater serves the best in seasonal, vegetable-forward cuisine. Even a meat lover like me LOVES their menu. Mix and match scoops of their seasonal salads and grab a crisp local Rockmill saison for a relaxed lunch. Don't forget to order the cheddar biscuit!

The local Co-op coffee shop is everything to love about Clintonville! Wonderful coffee, local baked good, and strong wifi keep patrons around all day. Inside is an ethical market featuring artisan goods from around the world. And outside is a giant patio with room to spread out. They will often have food, wine, music, or art events so stop by and ask what they have going on while you're in town! This is a locals spot for sure!

This local gem is taking over! Don't head to the North Market to wait in line for an hour....lucky you can walk 15 minuted to this hot spot featured on the Today show (aside from receiving a ton of national press). Known for their Hot Chicken and their hiring practices, stop in for a drumstick and Ma's mac. Believe what they say about the heat! You were warned.

Essentials

This market is best known for it's wine, meat, and fish selection. Local and wonderful - I highly recommend picking up some essentials here. If you are looking for a multitude of cereal brands this is not the grocery for you but if you are looking for an incredible bottle of wine to go along with your freshly packaged wild caught salmon fillets -- this is the place to go.

German Village is a historic neighborhood just south of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Initially platted in 1814 in Columbus’s South End, the German Village area primarily developed between 1840 and 1914. It was settled largely by German immigrants in the mid 1800s. German descendants at one time comprised as much as a third of the population of the entire city of Columbus. Now, it is a quaint and charming neighborhood with brick streets and some of the best restaurants in Columbus. Definitely make a stop at the book loft and get lost in the maze of this incredible local bookstore. When you get hungry try to get a table at Lindey's patio and enjoy a Columbus staple.

Shopping

The Clintonville Farmers Market, I would argue is the best market in all of Columbus and is a quick walk down high street. Join the entire neighborhood in the weekly ritual of waking up early, grabbing a coffee at Global Gallery, and walking through the farmers market picking up locally sourced veggies, fruits, and meats. Definitely be sure to stop at Dan the Bakers for incredible fresh baked bread! April 28 marks the opening day of outdoor Saturday markets along N. High Street, between Orchard Lane and W. Dunedin Road. The market is open from 9:00am to noon for seasonal, locally-produced, freshly-harvested Ohio food, live music and lots of fun.

Located almost right across high street, this space provides a relaxing refuge from travel, stress, and worries. Offering the traditional beauty and skin services you’d expect from a spa, Replenish also offers yoga (both personal and group experiences), acupuncture, and a selection of conscious retail. I have had massages here and have to say this is one of the most luxurious and relaxing spa experiences I've ever had.
