My home away from home. If you're lucky enough to go when owner Irena is working, expect a hug. You'll instantly feel like family in this hidden Venezuelan gem. Lots of seating options, but opt for the arepa bar if you can and ask GM Chris what their amazing chef recommends for the night and you will NOT be disappointed. The best cocktails you'll find anywhere, and make sure to get your hands on an arepa!

Please eat here once. Locally owned, this shop has endured hardship during the economy including a devastating fire. Yet some of the best food in the city, once visited by Queen Latifah and picked up frequently in the press. Must-try, the chef is amazing.

Curse this spot for being so close to the house. Even our dog pulls when we walk by it through the park since they serve what she rates 10/10 pup cups. Lines can get long in the summer but very worth it. Just South of the house along the park. 5 min walk.

God Bless America! Check out this amazing shrine where our Star Spangled Banner was written. Uber back through the city (not the tunnel) so you can see Federal Hill on your way out. Then come back to the house and watch the Baltimore episode of Drunk History on the couch to get some comedic perspective on our city's history.

Then come back to the house and watch the Baltimore episode of Drunk History on the couch to get some comedic perspective on our city's history.
It starts in Canton at the Water Taxi stand and runs around the entire Harbor. Fancy yourself a long day of walking that crosses Canton, Fell's Point, the National Aquarium, Inner Harbor all the way to Federal Hill? Do it. If you're too tired to walk back just grab a Water Taxi back.
