The beach is very beautiful but can be crowded in the summer. Go early to get a spot. I prefer the North Beach myself as it is a little smaller, not as crowed and still has some big dunes. You can also go for a walk here in the evenings.

This is about a 30 minute drive, but it is true County landscape - big flat rocks, lovely clear water for a swim. This is a great place to picnic and spend a few hours as it is not crowded. You can enjoy pitching your spot on the rocks or have a long ramble around.

Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area

The building was built in 1887 and is very beautiful. It's on the Picton Fairgrounds and there is a skate park next door.
