If you are heading down the South Shore, a stop at the Lahave Bakery is a must. The setting is very unique and the food is fantastic, using locally-grown, fresh milled grains. I recommended taking the ferry across the Lahave River, it is a charming affair.

On Saturday nights the tables come down and the live bands preform earning The Shore Club a reputation as "Nova Scotia's Last Great Dance Hall"!!
