Their brunch is extremely unique and never disappoints. Try the Chicken and Waffles--it is one of their signature dishes! They have excellent Bloody Marys and Carafe Mimosas.

The best ice cream in the city! Graham Cracker and Salted Caramel are definitely worth trying. There are rotating seasonal flavors as well as home made sodas for floats. Mmmmm!

They had a food truck before food trucks were cool. They serve breakfast during the breakfast hour and the best tacos and burritos after that.

Awesome, hidden, sometimes forgotten Arts district. Several excellent restaurants and art galleries...it feels like stepping into a small European back alley to me.

Made from converted shipping containers--they always have a featured beer that if you order it, you get to keep the glass! Also, they are a gourmet corn dog spot...you really can't go wrong...and yes corn dogs can be gourmet and unique!

It is a 70s inspired bar complete with 70s Playboys and the controversial Burt Reynolds centerfold on the wall. The bartenders there make a fierce martini. This is by far our favorite bar in the city.

Visiting this memorial is a humbling experience. You are allowed to tour the grounds for free where you can see the remembrance chairs and the Living Tree. I encourage you to pay to go into the museum, but allow at least 4 hours for the true experience. The museum will help give background to what the grounds around the building mean.

This area will require a drive or an Uber. Plan to be here for sunset and experience the best of what Oklahoma skies have to offer. Watch sailboats, kite fliers, and wind surfers. Several restaurants are on East Wharf--all provide a view of the lake.
