If you're looking for a shopping spree, look no further than Mahon Point. It's Cork's largest shopping centre and has everything including a cinema if you want to catch up on the latest flicks.

Everything Else

Cork Airport is very small but I love traveling through it as most days it literally only takes you 20 min max to get through security. We never give 2 hours before hand for this airport.

If you're not driving, this place is perfect for getting around Cork or indeed Ireland as buses depart here for everywhere.

This is the train station which is less than 10 minutes walk away. Not the best place to visit for sightseeing but for traveling it's good ;)

A lovely quirky fishing town and a must see! It also has an ancient fort called Charles Fort over looking the sea so it's a nice day out providing the weather is nice.

Beautiful large park which is great for evening strolls. Why not rent one of the bikes which are dotted all around Cork and cycle out.

Cobh is a small town right on the sea which is famous for being the last stop the Titanic had before it left for New York. It's not as nice as Kinsale but it's got a museum and nice places to eat.

If you're feeling energetic, you can climb up Shandon Bells where you can see a panoramic view of Cork. Entry is around €5.

A beautiful little town that is well worth the visit. It's full of shops, pubs and restaurants. A lot of people tour Dingle as part of the Ring of Kerry.

Really good, beautiful Asian food which is very reasonably priced and the portions are huge! It can get very busy in here though as they do 6 before 6 which is their daily special for €6!

They serve some of the best hot chocolate in Cork. If you're a fan of chocolate but prefer your chocolate dark and less sweet, try out their 'Chocolateer' which is our favourite.
