Los Abuelos is a long-standing Mexican restaurant. I have gone several times and it never disappoints. They recently moved to a new location, and raised the prices to pay for it, so we don't go as often as we used to, but it is still delicious.

Mooyah; a great place for burgers of all type, custom made just for you! I don't eat beef, so I love the option to enjoy a burger with turkey, although they have other meat options. You can specially make your burger with all the toppings you desire. I would also highly recommend their sweet potato fries dipped in some ranch. Mmmm.

Parks & Nature
This park is about 15 minutes south of Ossining. This is perfect for running, walking, or light hiking. There is a lake which I love to run laps around; one lap=one mile. However, there are miles and miles and miles of back paths for hiking or more avid runners.

Croton Point Park is a lovely, large park just 5 minutes north of Ossining. It is perfect for running or walking along the river. There are grills and lots of land for a BBQ.

Getting Around
This train station is a 5 minute drive from Ossining. Croton Harmon train station has both Amtrak trains from NYC and other regions and Metro North service from NYC to Poughkeepsie. 46 minutes on the express metro north train to NYC.
