I know it may sound gross, but Czechs really love fried cheese and potatoes, which you can get here in the top quality! Also typical Czech food called "svickova", which is basically beef tenderloin with dumplings and vegetable sauce, is also pretty impressive here. And last but not least, do have a beer here. They have Czech Pilsner on tap, so that should beautifully align with the food :) If you feel like you have junked yourself enough, you can then have a nice walk by the river, which is nearby.

This place is right next to the apartment. They have solid good burgers. I wouldn't say "the bestest out of the best", but the one with bacon is awesome. Also just having a beer and sitting outside in the summer months is not bad.

COFFEEEEEEE!!! Yes, this is a place to go for coffee lovers. But there's also a great selection of breakfasts and other bites including all the hipstery-yummy-avocado-quinoa-superfoods that are fashionable these days :) You are not allowed to reserve a table here, so first come first served, others wait in line (don't forget to ask the waitress for a number to get a table).

This restaurant is soooo good. The food is amazing, very modern and they have great selection of wines that go perfectly with it. Ask them for recommendation, they're keen to help you to make the best choice.

This is what you need at the end of a beautiful day in Prague. Have a glass of good wine that sets the right mood. The interior of this place is amazing with the references to the old Prague. As an old famous philosopher once said (I'm sure) "I drink wine therefore I am".

Wide selection of good wines, although a bit further from the apartment. Still, it's a nice 8 minute walk and then you're right by the river.

Metro station that takes you to the center or to the airport. Just two stations (4 minutes) away from Namesti Republiky (Palladium Shopping Center, Celetna street) or three stations to Mustek (Wenceslas' Square, Old Town Square).
