También en la calle Avemaria, 44 encontrarás el Bar Melos muy recomendable.
Los domingos no os olvidéis visitar el mercadillo de EL RASTRO.

At Lavapies neighborhood are usually writers, poets, musicians, and dedicated to the performing arts. As places to review I recommend going to the Reina Sofia Museum to see modern art - Picasso (Guernica), this museum is 400 meters from the apartment. In the Lavapies neighborhood you can also find a lot of restaurants, with typical Spanish cuisine (Portomarín in the same square of Lavapies, Galician cuisine), vegetarian, Indian, Italian, Turkish, and Greek restaurants on Avemaría Street. Also on Avemaria Street, 44 you will find the Melos Bar highly recommended.
On Sunday, don't forget to visit the flea market (EL RASTRO).

For tapas I recommend going to San Miguel Market, near the Plaza Mayor, high quality food (a bit expensive but fine...) with variety (Serrano ham, oysters, tuna, seafood and different wines).

Take a walk to this wonderful temple. I suggest going to the Royal Palace first and then walking to the Temple of Debod. Then head to Plaza España and go shopping on Gran Vía.
