A great place to get lost in! Miles and miles of road and trails if you like to run or bike, or just walk around in the back woods. The lake has paddle boats for rent, and there's a roller rink in the summer and ice skating in the winter (see "Le Frak Center"). There is also a free concert series during the summer at the 9th street Bandshell called Celebrate Brooklyn, where all sorts of famous musical acts come through!

A quiet spot nestled in between a high school and SUNY Downstate hospital. Has a track if you want to run, or you can hang out on the bleachers with a good book or with friends.

Every first weekend of the month they have First Saturdays, when the museum is free and open to the public until about 11 pm, and there are concerts in the lobby and a big dance party upstairs.
Other times, it's got a lot of great permanent exhibits and a really cool slate of rotating exhibitions.
