Stocking local seasonal and regional foods from the Mornington Peninsula, this cute little coffee shop with a grassy area for the kids to play out the back serves the best coffee in the area, not to mention the highly addictive white chocolate and raspberry muffins (amongst many other homemade goodies). You’ll keep going back.

You can’t beat the dense artisan sourdough bread at Flinders Sourdough Breads on Cook Street (behind Flinders Bakehouse, it is a little confusing as there are two bread shops next door to each other), Flinders Sourdough bakes in the original Flinders’ wood fired scotch oven. 100% organic, wholegrain and hand made. They also make a wickedly delicious home-style granola and have a gelato bar in summer.

58 Cook StYou can’t beat the dense artisan sourdough bread at Flinders Sourdough Breads on Cook Street (behind Flinders Bakehouse, it is a little confusing as there are two bread shops next door to each other), Flinders Sourdough bakes in the original Flinders’ wood fired scotch oven. 100% organic, wholegrain and hand made. They also make a wickedly delicious home-style granola and have a gelato bar in summer.
Further on in Red Hill (about 10 minutes from Flinders) is Johnny Ripe, a must frequent every time I visit Flinders. It’s a little gourmet outlet run by a super friendly and exceptionally talented peeps. They make and bake all sorts of goodies using produce from their own orchard and farm, specialising in sweet and savory pies. I’m rather obsessed with their crème brulee quince tartlettes at the moment and you can't beat their family sweet and savoury pies to take home for an easy dinner by our fire pit. Polperro is a wonderful spot for a long lazy lunch or just a drink and nibble on the deck by the fire pit. Incredible food, award winning wines, fabulous interior and serene views.

Take the self guided Blowhole Walk over huge bluestone boulders (located on Boneo Rd, opposite Razorback Rd), it is also possible to walk all the way to Flinders Ocean Beach over the rocks at low tide.

There is also an excellent Pantry and Cellar at Red Hill called The Red Hill Cellar & Pantry (they also do superb coffee), plus a full supermarket and other shops and facilities in Balnarring Village. For seafood contact either The Flinders General Store or Red Hill Cellar and Pantry (or Harry the Mussel man as previously mentioned).
