brand new as of 2017, this is a great pedestrian bridge that you can walk across the james river and see the downtown skyline from. On a nice day it can get a little crowded. You'll definitely want walking shoes because its probably a good 2 miles or so from the parking area to the end of the bridge and back.

On a nice day it can get a little crowded. You'll definitely want walking shoes because its probably a good 2 miles or so from the parking area to the end of the bridge and back.

this is a park/hiking trail/rocky beach all in one. we love going here on a nice day. Its a bit of a walk, but its worth it.

this museum is free and its a really large great museum with all different time periods and genres of art. They also have a great restaurant and an outdoor park area that you can picnic on or just walk/run around or sit and enjoy the weather.
