In 1898, Ambrosius Hiltl founded the world's first vegetarian restaurant. It's awesome! Now it's a whole culinary house. In addition to the à la carte restaurant, the popular Hiltl buffet offers more than 100 homemade specialties, also available to take away. It's also a bar, in the evenings on weekends a club and also has the first vegetarian butcher.

The red-light district has gone through a fundamental shift from shabby to chic. It's an awesome place hosting dozens of bars, clubs, restaurants and take-outs. It's basically open till 6am every day.
Recommendation:
- Plaza Club & Plaza Bar (let me know if you want to go)
- Kino Xenix (The bar of the cinema, also great to sit outside)
- Bagatelle (free club)
- 25 Hours (newest hotel with awesome bar)
- Olé-Olé-Bar
- Gonzo (impossible to get after 12pm, men require with female company)
- The bite (Burger joint)
- Burgermeister (Burger joint)
- Palestine Grill (next to the entrance of Longstreet Bar)
- Longstreet Bar
- Zukunft (underground electro club, can smoke inside, hard to get into)

You can walk from Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen all the way around the lake. Pass by Bellevue, Bürkliplatz, Rentenanstalt and walk over the lake on the Cassiopeia bridge and have a drink at the Restaurant & Bar Seerose. Will take you about 1 hour one-way, but you can take the bus back from the Restaurant Seerose.

Getting Around
Getting around is EASY! Every 400 Meters in Zurich, there is either a tram, bus or train stop. Buy yourself a day ticket, valid for 24 hours each and you can take any transportation type for that zone (except for the boat, which has a surplus of 5 CHF). Zone Zurich is mostly good enough as it covers a large area where all points of interest are in there.
