Lovely spring fed large natural pool with rope swing, as well as a spring fed man-made pool. Hike, picnic, relax amongst the towering Cypress trees and wonderful natural, yet improved aesthetically pleasing grounds, a time to truly get away. (Our sister was married here in the fall in a gorgeous setting!)

Miles of mountain biking trails, miles to hike, miles of lakeshore. Beautiful in it’s own way, whatever the season - if you appreciate the beauty of nature.
Has been known for it’s phenomenal display of bluebonnets (just google it to see, but absolutely no guarantees it will look like that when you come, though if it does, the pictures will not do it justice, for the incredible sea of blue flowers and their aroma is overpoweringly intoxicating .)

Before they were, our family enjoyed it for it’s incredible beauty, lovely hiking, and treasured water walking in....and we still do!

This local general store has basic hardware, fast food (with a place to sit), wine, beer, groceries, Kristy Kreme donuts fresh every morn (last I checked), gas, basic water gear/toys, helping locals to have to avoid driving to town for the essentials.
