Great family restaurant in Newlyn opposite the cinema, serving fried chicken, scampi etc in an old theatre. Opens at 6pm (no bookings) and gets incredibly busy in August so get there early and que up. Does fab deserts for the kids.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST BEACHES IN THE COUNTRY HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO WALK DOWN A STEEP CLIFF TO GET TO IT AND THERE ARE NO FACILITIES. EASILY SPEND A DAY HERE SWIMMING IN THE LAGOONS. DRIVE TO TREEN AND PARK IN THE FURTHEST CAR PARK AND ASK FOR DIRECTIONS AS NOT SIGNPOSTED. NUDIST BEACH.........

A lovely day out pottering around the cobbled streets visiting the usual seaside shops, galleries and cafes. 4 stunning beaches to hang out on. Suggest drive to Lelant and get the coastal train into St Ives as parking can be difficult. Otherwise can do park and ride.

You can see it across the bay from the lounge window. Lovely stately home on a little Island off the beach in Marazion. At low tide you can walk over, at high tide there are a continuous stream of little boats to take you over for a fee.
