Excellent Observatory to see the ospreys and their nests (April to Sept.). Lots of other wildlife to see too - including water buffalo in the summer.
Disabled friendly with board walks. Superb quality CCTV of the osprey nest and footage is also shown on their great website - if you want to keep in touch. Good home made cakes too!

Excellent Observatory to see the ospreys and their nests (April to Sept.). Lots of other wildlife to see too - including water buffalo in the summer.

Train up the hill with walking paths for the more energetic. Coastal Path to Clarach and Borth runs through the summit.

Superb views from the Waterloo monument on the top of the hill. Pass the mounds and ditches of the Iron-Aged Fort on the way down. Then call into Ceredigion Museum to find out all about the archaeology - as there are not interpretation boards up there - missed opportunity...

The narrow gauge railway runs from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge (Pontarfynach). You can walk around the two spectacular falls or take one of the marked walks around the area and then go back on a later train.
There are lots of cafes and a large hotel/restaurant/pub for refreshments.
