Sightseeing

Located just steps from the airbnb, this is a chance to see inside a typical historic home like the one you are staying in. The home attached has almost the same floorpan (although smaller) as the John Brown House. Great for history buffs. Also, on Thursday evenings in the summer they host concerts on the lawn. Visit www.RIHS.org for more info.

Drinks & Nightlife

The draw of this place is that it is a SECRET! There is no sign. But it is exactly 60 steps from the front door of our house. Simply walk down the driveway across the street from the house. When you get to the end where the trash cans are, look for the unmarked door in the corner to your right. If you have gone up stairs or around the building, you have gone too far. NOTE: This is a 21 and up ONLY bar. They are very serious about checking IDs at the door. It is a private club and membership is $40/year, but they will let you in for $5. Drinks are cheap. The music is loud, but the vibe is good. Enjoy playing pool or throwing darts. Don't miss the enormous cartoon hanging on the wall.
