Hanging Rock State park is about an hour from Greensboro. It has a lake for swimming and several trails for different levels of hiking . Hiking to the top is easy and there are stunning views.

This museum is funded by the Warhol Foundation . It is a display of items that a local woman/store owner collected (hoarded). It is amazing. Everything is organized and interestingly displayed. There are interactive things to do and it is just very interesting and has an interesting history.
