This historic restaurant on Rice Lake iis jus about 12 minutes' drive from Beth-Shalom. It has a great view of the lake, especially from the patio. Their wings and the burger are pretty popular. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town, or for a day trip lunch spot.

This little hill offers a great variety of terrain for all levels and lift lines are never longer than a few minutes. Great place for families and kids. There are two chalets and the food is good, especially for a ski hill. The food is also fairly priced. Poutine is great, lots of cheese curds! Knowledgeable people working in the store and they do ski/snowboard tune ups. Tip: Gate 4 parking had a ticket office if you have your equipment ready to go from the car. Go to Gate 2 for the main entrance including rentals.
