Catello's is owned by the most precious Italian who only has been in America for a short time. His dishes are some of the best I ever have had and I was raised on true authentic Italian food. He also makes all of his own cheeses every single morning and his own sausages and sauces. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality food you will receive.

The Bank is the family friendly restaurant in Pendleton. The food is generally really good. They have a braised chicken that will knock your socks off. If you want a good "home cooked" meal, this is the place to go.

For Tex-Mex, it is very good and the service is great. Most importantly, it is open on Mondays which is rare in any small town in Indiana.

Drinks & Nightlife
I say this is a bar but everyone in town eats at The Stable. They have the most delicious burgers - including an Elk Burger that is to-die-for! On some nights there is live music. It's just a fun place to eat, hangout, drink if you want or get different foods.

Parks & Nature
Falls Park is a beautiful area, perfect for couples, singles and families too. The Falls were the earliest attraction for Pendleton and once was a very popular swimming pool for Hoosiers from all over Indiana. It now boasts recreational activities and seven hiking trails as well as marvelous picnic areas. It's a must see and do during your visit to Pendleton

A short drive from The Wisteria House, this state park offers a bit history with a wonderfully restored Victorian home; hiking trails that range from easy to difficult; Native American Mound Sites as well as a nature viewing area that brings fabulous creatures up close and personal. It is one of my favorite state parks in Indiana
