You're in San Diego - why not some Mexican food?! Ortega's is a great local joint with a big menu, good value, and right in the heart of OB's main strip.

Sunset Cliffs lives up to its name - what a beautiful place to watch sunsets while walking along the wide open Pacific (and admire the nice houses). You can walk down to the hidden "no surf" beach for some tide pools and sunbathing a little more off the beaten path.
